Villa Tupai Balangan is located on Bali's southern Bukit peninsula, 20 minutes drive from the Ngurah Rai International airport.
The villa is on a green and serene side way to Balangan Beach road. It is a 10 minute drive, along a quiet, winding, road to Balangan Beach. The other beaches on the Bukit peninsula are within a 15 minute drive.
Villa Tupai Balangan  is built from local natural materials. The roof is constructed from traditionally weaved palm leaves.
The villa has two bedrooms of 25 square meters, each with king size bed and AC, connected to two open garden bathrooms with individual showers. It has an open living room and kitchenette, and a 6 x 3 meter swimming pool, built from natural stone. Free wifi internet throughout the villa. Flat screen TV with DVD player and a small selection of movies. A first aid kit and a fire extinguisher are present.

Villa Tupai Balangan was built in 2012 and is part of a compound of five similar villas, each with their own access, parking place, and swimming pool. Cleaning staff, nighttime security, maintenance on the pools, and wifi internet tower are shared between the five villas.
The villa and garden covers a total of 300 square meters and has ample space to store luggage and surf boards.
Formerly, the villas were under one owner and were called Villa Bali Theo. In 2016, the name of this villa was changed to Villa Tupai Balangan. Tupai means squirrel in Bahasa Indonesia, called after the squirrels that can be seen hopping around the treetops surrounding the villa.
